In May we staged a Celebrity Golf Tournament at the Vale of Glamorgan Golf Course. The aim of the event was to raise money for the WREX Charity.
It was a truly wonderful afternoon in glorious surroundings with the Vale Course looking superb.
We had 22 no. teams taking part, with Craig Quinnell’s team winning the Trophy. We even had a ‘Hole in One’ by former Swansea International Bleddyn Bowen who obliged by buying champagne for everyone.
The golf was followed by a Dinner in the Clubhouse at the Vale where all the Ex-Internationals mingled with the guests.
The Event was tremendously received by everyone, and on behalf of the Trustees of the WREX Charity, we would like to express our gratitude for the generosity of all our paying guests.
