John never played club rugby in Wales, he captained the team while at Cambridge University.
Captained Wales to a Grand Slam in 1950 and to a triple crown in 1952.
Currently has a book out – Gwilliam Seasons – the second golden era of Welsh Rugby – co written with David Parry Jones.
