26 Caps 1st Cap in 1966 v Australia Captain of Llanelli for the 1972 -73 season, including the famous 9-3 win over the mighty All Blacks team.
Played 15 games for the British Lions in the 1971 tour, including five test matches.
Five years earlier he had played in 17 games in the tour to New Zealand and Australia, and in 1968 he played in 12 games in the Lions tour to South Africa.
Played a total of 42 games for the Lions scoring 9 points over three tours.
